Astronomy produces millions of star images as visual byproducts of data
collection, discarded once their scientific value is spent. These stars
are never seen by human eyes, existing only as coordinates and IDs in sky survey
databases. First Light: Emergence reclaims this overlooked data,
transforming it into introspective artifacts. Using the VizieR library,
SIMBAD database, and Gaia Sky Catalog, the project retrieves
coordinates of unremarked stars and renders them through a slow,
deliberate visualisation process compositing the differnent color channels of three increasingly higher resolution surveys.
